Our Fees and Services

Call out Charges.

We offer a same day service for all complete power failure calls up to 7 pm. We do not charge call out or traveling fees, We charge a standard hourly rate or part thereof, starting from when we leave our premises to the time we finish the requested work. Our hourly rate is £20 during weekdays, £30 and £40 on Saturdays and Sundays respectively.

Guarantees.

We make no apology for using the highest quality materials for any work we do. Although this increases the initial cost of any work, we have found that using quality products eliminates call backs for failures and enables us to guarantee any installation work, for a period of 5 years from completion date. Most electrical products usually carry a standard manufacturers guarantee of one year but as we are so sure of the reliability of the products we use, this has enabled us to do this. Our guarantee does not cover light bulbs and tubes or any physical damage occurring to supplied products.

Estimates.

Are Totally Free, We need say no more.

Wiring Checks.

Also completely Free. We would not wish to charge for a service that is primarily about your safety in your home.

Wiring or Rewiring work carried out by unskilled hands.

We will decline any work, or testing of any wiring installation carried out by unskilled hands.

We will also decline any work relating to one particular make of Consumer unit installed by Southern Electric Contractors as in our opinion, they are inferior quality products.
