Roe Deer are very timid creatures with an acute hearing, just crushing a leaf is enough to frighten them, as can be seen by the picture above. It took me a long time to get a reasonable photograph of these beautiful creatures. The one time I could have got a close up perfect picture was the one time I didn't have a camera with me. Patience is a virtue when filming in the forest.
