This picture makes me sad, this part of the forest is a popular attraction for the many tourists who visit. Even though their campsite is only a couple of hundred yards away, they drive to this spot, blocking the road with their cars, and proceed to destroy what they have come to enjoy. The river banks were as indicated by the white line. I should think many tons of river bank have been eroded away. A healthy tree near the bridge fell into the river due to having its roots exposed through erosion, after numerous children used a rope swing from one of its branches. The tree that is left will suffer the same fate shortly. Litter left behind every day after their visits makes me think they really don't care about the forest. They are here for one reason alone, a cheap holiday. As far as I am concerned, if they cant respect the forest, they should stay away, the forest is not a playground, it is a living working environment.
